Norwegian Jade offers several live entertainment options in the evenings. "Elements" is a music and dance show centered around the elements of earth, air, fire, and water. Amenities are also slightly upgraded in balcony rooms, with better toiletries and robes. While the interior cabins are small, they’re certainly good enough for most couples or single travelers, as they feature two twin beds or a single queen and offer step-in showers and separate toilet closets. You’ll be treated to just as modern an experience in the interior cabins as you will in the larger suites. At the time of Pride of Hawaii’s construction, it was the largest and most expensive U.S. flagged passenger ship of all time — she cost a whopping $500,000 to build.

Moderno Churrascaria (Brazilian steakhouse restaurant) was moved from deck 8 to deck 13. The restaurant was redesigned and outfitted with floor-ceiling windows and glass-door entrance. The majority of passengers on Norwegian Jade's Europe-based itineraries are from the U.K.
This is one room where playing games is not just encouraged, it's expected. Play bridge or test your skill with board games, chess and more. Free classes are posted, as well, and they include group ab workouts and 1-mile sea-day morning walks. Various tournaments, slot pulls and gaming lessons are held during each sailing. Apart from shows in the Stardust Theater, events at night are mostly those involving music, whether it be live, DJ-spun or karaoke-style. On one night during our sailing, there was a Caribbean dance party, and on another, Norwegian's well-known White Hot Party was hosted in the Spinnaker Lounge.
Norwegian Jade offers one main pool on Deck 12, along with more than 300 deck chairs and 140 loungers, plus four hot tubs. There’s a separate kids pool on the same deck for toddlers. Another private pool area is within The Haven, though it is small.
The 2200-passenger ship Norwegian Jade has a similar exterior appearance to the Norwegian Star (operational since 2001) and the Norwegian Dawn (2002). However, the interior design and amenities are quite different and merit Norwegian Jade having a Jewel Class design. All dining and entertainment options are almost the same on all ship owned by NCL.
In the hallways of the cabins, there is a design that features thousands of little fish swimming. What’s unique is that they all face toward the front of the ship. It’s an easy way to tell if you are heading forward or aft.
